Birth certificates are one of many important documents that a citizen may have. In India, a Birth Certificate provides particulars about a person's name, the names of their mother and father, date of birth, and place of birth.
Birth certificates in India are given to citizens, upon application, from municipal authorities, city corporation offices, and/or registrar offices. A Birth Certificate in India provides proof of identity, age, and Indian citizenship. According to the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, births must be registered no later than 21 days. After 21 days, a relevant fine is levied for late applications and registration.
A Domicile/Residence Certificate is generally issued to prove that the person bearing the Certificate is a Domicile/Resident of the State/UT by which the Certificate is being issued. This Certificate is required as proof of residence to avail Domicile/Resident Quotas in educational institutions and in the Government Service, as also in case of jobs where local residents are preferred.
An income certificate is an official document issued by a state government certifying the annual income of a person or a family from all sources, including rent, salary, foreign remittance, pensions, returns or dividends from investments, daily earnings and wages, or business profits, if any. Before applying for an income certificate online, do find out who the issuing authority in your state is because it can vary from state to state.
